Could this really be? Does India follow China and starts to cut down the freedom of speech in the internet?! At least some post and news I stumbeld upon indicate that. So far infos can be found here, here and here. And a whole list of blogs about this incident here.

According to this blog it is a messure against Terrorist communications via blogs on the affected portals. A quite severe one I think.
