Just heard from it in a podcast, it’s not new actually but I guess it is needed in times where content distribution via podcasts becomes popular and transfer quota consuming. The CDN is called Coral. It saves your bandwidth by mirroring your files across their infrastructure, you just need to append .nyud.net:8080 to the hostname of your url, and each request is handled by Coral.
