Back in my Windows days i used notebock hardware control to set the voltage below standard specs to save some uptime. But for a while there was nothing similar in sight for the mac book. But now finaly a useable version of coolbook appears that allows to set the voltage for each throttling stage. Now I have a cooler note book 3°C less at 2.1GHz and a longer uptime.
